I wanted to play one last SG in PTW before starting on conquests. Mainly because I'd like to steer clear of Conquests SGs until the first patch has settled in. And secondly because my local game shops still have not received their shipment… I hate living in near 3rd world countries (UK!).

Harking back to an old SG run by SirP: SP8 - Slaves of the Pyramid (read as: stealing the initial idea :)). I felt this could be an entertaining variant and would make for a very different start to a normal game.

Version: PTW.
Civ: Americans.
Size: Large 'Average' Pangea.
Climate: Random. - looks like: Warm & Arid?
Civs: 4 Hand picked: Persians, Romans, Ottomans and Germans + 4 random: Japan, Egypt, Carthage and Russia.
Barbarians: Roaming.

Here was our, very wheaty, start:

I got the ball rolling. Built a couple of scouts, a warrior and then the pyramids!

The year is now 1700BC. Here is a world map, report of the early turns, current situation and the save - feel free to have a look around and see what you think, but no playing yet.

All victory conditions are on… any win is an acceptable one - just take it as it comes.

As far as rules go: Standard no exploits play. A reputation is a lovely thing, please keep ours intact! RCP is the tool of the devil… we shall not knowingly indulge in it!

There is always the option to make this an open SG, if people don't have time to commit to something like this.

So, the golden question, is anyone interested?

It's a great idea. But I don't think I'll join. I'm playing my first Monarch games as SG's and so I'm a little behind you. But I'll watch & try to learn.
