Task force 322 vs federation(in development)

Hello I was brain storming of what mod to make and I choose to make some goanimate and battle garegga related there are only 3 civs which is the Goanimate fanboys as the barbarians, task force 322(angry kid) as the goanimate civ, the federation(nemesis chan) from battle garegga and the Republic of China (Tian Zhao Jr) as you know the ()'s indicates the leader as you see there default leader heads beacause I don't know how make leaderheads or make static ones(because flicster halted when I have the .dlls I have blender but I don't know what unit to make and the work is in my desktop I would need some units from my request thread all of them are task force 322 I would also need some federation units Like the black heart,glow squid,etc I will be accepting requests for this mod, MAKE SURE ITS RELATED TO MILITARY UNTIS(TASK FORCE 322 OR FEDERATION) I also happy to have volunteers to test my mod and see if there's any bugs so I can fix but there's a negative thing I'm only allowed to play 2 hours a day on both of my computers and also the work is done with steph's and the cross platform editor for this mod link is below

P.S:this is in debug because it's on development anyways there's are just the Firaxis units some units are placeholder

Notes
1.This is a crossover of goanimate and battle garegga
2.This is set in the goanimate universe
3.*outdated* The federation is aided by the Plotagon army(I'll begin to do some locked alliances on them)
4.*revealed* There would might be some faction to aid the Goanimate civ but when I did some work after a long time it revealed to be Taiwan(its still part of China)

Good luck with your mod development!

This is just a suggestion: I'd strongly consider looking at other mod development threads and using them for inspiration for your own development process. The more you can show and tell us in a presentable way, the more likely it is that people will help you with testing or ideas. In essence, the better your presentation, the better our response.

@tom2050's Conquests of Might and Magic 3 preview thread (here) is a recent development thread that I think is presented wonderfully and that you can take a lot of cues from. It shows exact concepts and clearly lays out expected features and ideas.

Plus, if you can demonstrate that there is some serious hard work being done on this mod of yours, there's a good chance more of your requests will be fulfilled! In my experience, Civ3 modders love seeing their work get used. :)
 
This the hard work I done that I deleted the civ I don't what in the mod I also have a problem earlier with the mod when I edit the city's names and edit the military and science leaders I'm also having trouble with flicster when I have dlls it halted me I would also need some leaderheads for the 2 civs which is angry kid for goanimate and nemesis chan for federation and I'm trying to find a way to play as the barbarians, anyone can feel free to download the mod


Edit: Oh I forgot there are no extra units,resources nor buildings
 
here's a minor update I added one unit and added some real info in the civs I be happy to have some volunteers to some helping

theres a update there is two new buildings but the conquest editor messed up when I go to dark age grain mill or grain mill it said some thing about integners

The board is kinda dead, so I'd suggest going around to the Steam Civ 3 forums and seeing if anyone wants to play there. For what it's worth, I did try playing it and it crashed on loading. Either way, I wish you luck on the project.

new update theres a new building called academy it makes task force 322 troopers download now

No? I don't have any screen shots I was playing my mod to test if there's any crashes I'll post some screen shots of the info of the civs the goanimate one is long the federation is not

If you want people to be interested in your mod and actually see what it is about, you need to answer 1 question convincingly.

"Why should I, as a disinterested observer, care?"

Actually answer it for a disinterested observer, not some lame answer devoid of punctuation and substance like "its cool guys trust me".

The way the title is phrased makes it sound like you are doing some sort of fan fiction alternate universe crossover thing, which is highly detrimental, as it is very rare for anyone to have any personal interest in something like that. (You can argue The Playground Mod was just this, however we have had people request a scenario of it, so we knew before hand that the interest is there.) No one knows what Taskforce 322 is, no one knows what goanimate is (aside from an animation software thing) and no one knows what Federation is (there's too many Federations in movies and literature). If you don't provide any context, and no one is going to care unless if you take time to explain what these are. No, asking us to google it does not count, because, back to the question, "why should I, as a disinterested observer, care?" If you are going to make us do work in order for us to decide whether we care, most people wouldn't bother.

Compared to something more generic, like a historical Cold War scenario, or a Fantasy setting like Warhammer Fantasy, or a Sci-Fi setting like Warhammer 40K. These at the very least have large fanbases who would be interested in seeing something like that done in a Civ 3 setting. These answer the "Why should I, as a disinterested observer, care?" question fairly well in their own ways. A historical game like Civ 3 is bound to have people interested in historical scenarios. Fantasy is a very popular genre, and Warhammer 40K has a large following with many unit creators that have made units for it in the past. Be honest, if someone were to make a cross over between Spongebob, and Aladdin, you would find it hard to care to begin with.

Screenshots help people understand what it is that this is. If you refuse to provide screenshots, or can't, "Why should I, as a disinterested observer, care?", especially since it seems like you don't care enough to entice people to come take a look. No one can see how cool or lame this is without downloading it and playing it, all of our time is precious, and you haven't made any convincing arguments on why we should care. Even in one of those earlier mentioned scenarios or mods, they provide screenshots to show what this is all about, to show what they have accomplished. Even if you can write the most eloquent of novels detailing your mod proposal and its plans, if you have no skill in assembling it, it just becomes people doing it for you (leading back to the question "Why should I, as a disinterested observer, care?"), or it will die because no one knows how to put the mod together, leading to disappointment if anyone somehow managed to care.
 
No, I don't know those things, and I am not interested in finding out on my own as it doesn't sound interesting. As I mentioned earlier, this is your responsibility to convince people to care about this, and complaining about your problems doesn't help people understand what your mod is about, nor is it convincing people to want to help.

In fact, the limited scope at which you are operating on (no google? Really?), it is a hindrance, because people don't want to help because you will simply attempt to make them do everything, and most people don't want to deal with that.

It is in your best interest to make this mod for yourself, use this thread as a log on what you have done, rather than ask for testers, and act indignant when no one steps up to help when clearly you have interested no one.
