Tech era limit??

Hi,

Does anyone know of a mod for RFC that would limit technological advancement?? I have tried searching the forums, maybe I did not try hard enough .

It would be nice if the regular RFC also had a tech era limit. Honestly, I am kind of surprised that he normal Civilization does not have a built in tech-era limit by now. Maybe Civ 5 does, I have not played it. But since I started playing civ 2 way back when I always kind of thought there should be a way to stop scientific progress to keep a game in a particular era.
