Technical support doesn´t work here :-((

Hi, I must complain because I´m very upset now.

I registered on Civfanatics forum on Monday. But I didn´t receive my activation mail. Mistake was not in my mail server, because other mails came normally.

So I tried to ask for help. But, now the problems began:

There´s no technical support on Civfanatics, no e-mail address where we could mail if we have problems.
Yeah, we can complain here, but since I was not activated yet, I couldn´t write here!!
So I tried to write to Thunderfall, because he appeared to be some kind of admin here.
I wrote him on e-mail and on ICQ but got no response.
I managed to solve the problem today when I changed my e-mail FOUR times and it sent the authorization to the FOURTH e-mail.

But still I need to change my e-mail to the first one, since this is my father´s mail. But your authorization automaton doesn´t send e-mails to post.cz. I´m just asking whether it´s possible to get some help or advice from Civfanatics admins. Because this is the first time I met a discussion forum where is no possibility to contact admins before I register.

You've already done the one thing that anybody here could have recommended: Email Thunderfall. He is the Admin for the site, and it is beyond the power of the rest of us poor mortals to fix such problems. It's surprising, though. Usually that part of the system works quite well.

But you finally did get in. so Welcome!

One thing you could do is make the emial not just a link but have it typed out, that can be a problem with certian browsers

I received your email but didn't get the ICQ message.

I always reply to all support emails within 24 hours.

It's changed it to your post.cz email now.
