When terraforming new planets, does it matter if you take plants and animals that were "T2" or "T3" from one planet and use them to stablelize "T1" terraforming stage?

At one point, added a T2 plant and said it already existed for T1...so would like to make sure.

Generally a T2 slot on one planet is the same on another planet. I think some kind of parts complexity value helps determine where a creature/plant is T1, T2, or T3.

I did once add a T2 plant on a planet I was stabilizing to T1 and it did hold. No clue why, but probably it was a one time bug. In that case I had to find a T2 plant from a different planet to bring the other planet up to T2. Nver seen that happen again.

Doesn't matter. You can take T3 plants and plop them on a T1 planet, and vice versa.

So, I could take t3 herbivores on my planet and plop them on a t1 planet to stabalize it and vice versa

Actually not, or rather they will die and you'll get the message to the effect "terrascore of the planet is too low to support this lifeform".

Yup, any species will do it

Plants and animals don't have a "Terra Score", only planets do. So a plant that is living in the Tier III slot can be placed into an empty Tier I slot on another planet. However, if that Tier I slot is already full, you can not add the new plant until you get the planet to at least T2.

Any species, any slot. The only reason you'd get the message "terrascore of the planet is too low to support this lifeform" is if you don't have enough slots.

Or if it shows up on the food web
