Terrain Editing Help

Help me!!!!!!!!!! When ever I edit terrain or cities, four gray triangles appear on whatever I edited. What do I do?

What image editor do you use? It's a known problem and easy to fix if you have the right tools.

But if you just have MS Paint or so, the solution isn't as elegant. The simplest solution in that case would be to get rid of all that grey by only using pink (magenta) for all the transparent bits.
