Would u like to start config it on *.biq file? If u have spare time (I saw you are wth many scenarios under construction), tell me, I can send u the *.biq that I started, there you find the config of 30 of 31 civilizations, the missing is Uruguay.

@gelven: that's okay, since the icons and texts are in good hands, you could help me in other mod :) Post more times my friend and visited us always, them u can get your 1,000 post :D

here comes the *.biq Check that:
- the colors of the civis were not choisen
- the starting tech were not choisen. we have to choice each bonuses starts with each tech.
- the king unit were not choisen




St. Gelven could help us always with good suggestions, in spite of he will not be present in the icons ans texts production.





BTW, we have to choice the cultural groups, we chat it weeks ago, i think the best option is:
- present countries of North America
- present countries of Latin America
- natives of Meso America
- natives of South America
- natives of North America

Now we have to find the city graphics and decide about the "cultural group UU". I was thinking use a general UU for all the civis of the general group, a.e the Tupi Spearman for all the civis of South American group. this unit could have any special characteristic. U asked me if u could choice them in other treat, be free my friend, do the usual good work :clap:

Cities: This one will have to wait for a while... for now I can say Montevideo is the first city :P

Military leaders: Gotta wait as well... will be quite easy to do though

Scientific ones: Waiting... not so easy to do

Civilopedia: Same as last three... :blush:

UU: Soldado de Blandengues (replacing Rifleman, probably a bit cheaper -5 shields, for example - and with an extra defence point)



Now, moving into the culture groups part... I agree with Civarmy about the ones he mentioned... However, I think it would be nicer to make each civ have its UU (or sometimes, even 2 or 3), and then have flavor units for each culture (doesnt have to be specifically one set for each culture group in the game, but maybe in some cases we could make some more realistic culture groups...)
Then, we'd need city graphics for N. and S. American natives, cause I think there are already some other available for the other cultures (Latin American could use the one posted here some time ago, while NA countries and Mesoamerican Natives could use some ones from the game)
And then we could also could (with no much effort), make citizen graphics for the cultures (maybe using the ones with the game as a base)
 
Thansk Jorde! I'm be witing for the missing data (leader list, cities...). About the leaderhead, any progress?

We need two UUs for civi and one extra UU for cultural group. In page 09 we found the UU list of each civis, we have to complete them. Suggestions are always welcome fellows! Plus we need a extra UU for cultural group, Sword of Geddon is making the choices, when he finished we can give him feedback. So, he is looking for a UU for Meso Native American civis, present countries of North America...
Also we can use just different units with the same power, just for to be close of reality, a.e., use a Native American settler with the same power of a currently settler. We just need search these units in forums or produce them.

City graphics I think we have all:

- Countries North: European ones (came with Civ3)
- Countries Latin: These cool graphics of Latin cities available on graphic forum.
- Meso Natives: American ones (came with Civ3)
- North Natives: I think NA Mod use these city graphics
- South Natives: Also I think NA Mod use these one, if they don't exist we can do or look for another ever done.

Popheads: R8FXT gave me some tips to do easily some popheads using done leaderheads, I think it is not hard to do some cool popheads with few work :D

Great... just remember that they need 4 different emotions, and they should be really clear and unmistakable... I'll give you some ideas on some popheads later...

Let's join in a single post the links of the leaderheads, units, techs, wonders and other arts. before, we need decide what will be used, like the wonders. after decide, we can join all the links in a single post and, finally, we download, put all toghter and upload to CFC server (or other).
just a problem: the mod will be heavy to download (24 leaderheads in 4 eras is something like 350 megas! :eek: )
of corse we could do a lite version for dial-up users (we can discus it late).

There could be two versions... the small version, with just static leaderheads (using the pictures of the actual heads to make a one frame flic), and the larger one with every leaderhead in it... or maybe to save up space on the server, we could just place the links from where to download each leaderhead from
 
The mod, without the leaderheads, will be pretty small. The main reason Far Horizons is so big is because of the leaderheads. Another idea is to do the mod in two parts, one will have the units, biq, text, and the other the leaderheads. Civarmy is the genius behind installation, and I'm sure he will figure out the best way to do things.
 
For Lite version, I was thinking:
- leaderheas static, era specific, with icons and civilopedia entry
- just icons and texts of the unique units, they could just use the same arts of the standarts units
- the same tech tree and wonders present in the game

For post the Full version, it will be a big problem, it could had 500megas or more!!! :eek: We could post the links, but it will be not easy to install, people must download dozens of files and put there in correct directories, it will be so hard.
Well, let's finish first the units, wonders... and we can think a good way to post this mod :)
 
CivArmy s. 1994 you are great and i love all your mods. but you need to do some damage control. for example your canada mod crashes when you biuld a mountie. and you have a cave man unit so y not intergrate it with the civ that u made, and theirs more but .... umm ya thnak you and great job
 
FINALLY!!! I've found some free time to finish this leaderhead... now, the only thing I need someone to make for me are the pcx's, as I have no idea on how to make them... If anyone offers to do them, I could send him the jpgs of the different moods or something and he would finish that for me...

So now... Uruguay comes to war! :D :p

Jorde, the leaderhead is good, congratulations! :goodjob: To do the *.pcx and edit the *.txt, u could check one of my civilizations to see the sizes and what the leaderhead must do, it could be hard in the first time, but it is necessary. u also need choice the treats of Uruguayan civ (list of leaders, cities, bonuses...) and setup up it in *.biq, if u want. Some creators, like me, do that, others just do a readme.txt with all the informations and ask to the players do his own set up.
BTW, the clothes that he is using are freebies? Where did u get that? They are cool.
