Jorde, the leaderhead is good, congratulations! :goodjob: To do the *.pcx and edit the *.txt, u could check one of my civilizations to see the sizes and what the leaderhead must do, it could be hard in the first time, but it is necessary. u also need choice the treats of Uruguayan civ (list of leaders, cities, bonuses...) and setup up it in *.biq, if u want. Some creators, like me, do that, others just do a readme.txt with all the informations and ask to the players do his own set up.
BTW, the clothes that he is using are freebies? Where did u get that? They are cool.

Well... I can do most of the pcx's, but what I can't do (dont know how to), are the round ones for the diplomacy window (the ones with the different moods)

And the clothes... well, except for the modern suit, the rest are just made up by me: the ancient one was "stolen" from Dom Pedro's Napoleon, with the addition of some furs "borrowed" from William of Orange; I took his medieval clothes from Charles of Austria (with some modifications); and finally, his industrial clothes are Bismarck's with some heavy changes... then I used Corel Photo Paint to paste them over the avi's made in Poser, and voila... free clothing! :D

hi daniel, when do you expect finish this mod?

I don't know, let's see:
- leaderheads: ready
- units: under construction
- tech tree: it was done, bur it was not seted up yet
- wonders: we have to choice, we just have some suggestions, maybe 30 wonders of Americas
- set up mod: I started do that
- chocie the new graphic interface: I have to do, but appear be easy to be done.

I don't have a date, but I think it will not take a long time to be done

If you've not decided on wonders yet, I have a small suggestion that you may find a good way to decide:

To figure out what out of all the great wonders of the American continent should be wonders in your game, try looking at things more specifically. You could pick out great wonders from these categories:

- North America (native)
- North America (colonials)
- Mesoamerica (native)
- Latin America (colonials)
- South America (native)

This way, you could get a fair amount of wonders from each area, and would make them easier to chose, imo. Just an idea...

Another idea could be in giving each civ it's own unique wonder. Anyway, it's all up to you.

Also, are you going to add those extra civs to make a total of 31?

16? Really? Because there's 24 leaderheads in the preview on the first page...

Anyway, if I must wait for an expansion pack, I can be patient... I think... :D

If there are twenty-four civs, you should try to arrange it so that there is at least one wonder that was historically built by each of them. Some civs will get more than one, of course.

I was think something like that:
- 5 cultural groups, like was said yet
- one unique unit per cultural group
- one unique wonder per cultural group, one wonder to each civi is too many unique wonders.

Something like that:
- Natives from South America: Tupi Spearman
- Countries from Latin America (meso + south): Bandeirante (replaces Explorer)
- Natives from Meso America: Aztec Pikeman
- Present contries of North America: Female Marine
- Natives from North America: some unit to replace the horseman

Well, these are just suggestions, okay? ;)

BTW, here comes the division:
- Natives from South America: Incan, Tupi, Jês and Mapuche
- Countries from Latin America (meso + south): Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay
- Natives from Meso America: Aztecs, Mayan, Caribs and Arawak.
- Present contries of North America: USA and Canada
- Natives from North America: Haida, Inuit, Cherokee, Iroquois, Sioux and Navaho.

----

sorry for post few these days, I'm playing a little and setup up ACM :goodjob: these days

I agree with how the culture groups were organized (though it's a bit akward to have the Incas in the same group as the Tupi's or the Jes)... What I dont agree that much is with the UU: I still think each civ should have its own (there are/will soon be already enough for everyone) and then each culture group should have a special UU (which could perhaps be the ones you mentioned, though I dont completely like some of your choices)

"Cowboy" is the best USA UU you can come up with? Bush has actually changed our world image that much?

No offense, but a cowboy for a unique unit is pretty lame...They were just ranchers who would get drunk sometimes and shoot eachother...

You could take a US Marine from WWII until now, a Doughboy from WWI, one of a a hundred tanks...If your trying to pick something speficially used on the continent, maybe go with something from our Civil War...

If you use a cowboy, just please take a better name..

Cowboy is America, America is cowboy, yesterday, mainly today (more then yesterday) and in the future. Cowboys were present in march to the west, a fact that mark the history of this country (for bad and good things), for this reason I choice it. But it coud be also used like UU of North American present countries civis and choice another UU for Americans.

I did a plan in Excel about the power of the units, the currently (almost every them, the missing ones do not matter for this plan) and also the unique ones. If someone wants to suggest any correction, download the file and post :)
BTW, some units continue missing :( , check some treads above to find them.

I agree with him... a Cowboy is not a really representative unit of the US: they didnt fight any important battle (and I doubt the fought any at all) so their military importance is close to 0...

It's not like the gaucho, who is a character very similar to a Cowboy (drunken countriside people, who used to roam around, killing cows to eat and not much more), but who did fight for independence (and then also did have a participation in any of the several Civil Wars during the 1800's and early 1900's)
