Another TLPAC.
Woo.
This one is set one year before the series actually begins. Which, for those who play my other TLPACs, here's a timeline form.
In this one, you all play as Gyrean Rangers, vagabonds patrolling the wilds of the Independent States, Ethara, Kepholon and the Jinon Empire to protect the innocent from slavers. A few months ago, there were ten thousand Rangers.
Now, there's a few hundred.
A civil war in the elven lands of Ethara resulted in the Rangers shattering and the Brigadier, Tyrone Dufonse, being killed in action. With his children and sister wandering off on their own quests and relinquishing the concept of a centralized command for the Rangers, you've all congregated together to find your own paths. Your journeys have led you to the town of Alara in the Independent States, as spring dawns over the North . . . .

Age: How old are you? Barring a good reason, you can't be younger than 16 or older than 40.
Gender: Are you possessed of a tab or a slot?
Description: What do you look like?
Codename: Your codename - in the Rangers, a bird is always used. Ones that have been used in the books and are thus off-limits are "Sparrow" "Bluebird" "Bluejay" "Mockingbird" and any variation on "Hawk".

-AIM: Aim. Adds a bonus to hit chance in ranged combat.
-WILL: Willpower. Adds a bonus to resisting mental and emotional attacks, and 3WP for every point you have.
Feats: Feats are special abilities that empower your character. You start with three.
Inventory: What do you have on you? Within reason, I'll accept anything. Everyone has a "Ranger Pendant" which is a symbol of a swooping hawk inside a circle and identifies you as a Ranger.
Biography: Who are you, really? What's your life story? And how does that make you FEEL?
That ... should be everything. Except for the quick breakdown on combat actions.
Everyone has two actions per turn in combat. These actions may be used to move, attack, or take one of the special actions listed below. Flurry and Rapid Fire are exceptions, as they do NOT cost an action to take, but you still need to announce you're using them before you use your second action.
I think that's everything. Reserving the next post, in which I will post a map and a detailed primer on Haven as soon as it's finished to avoid more snafus like Forgotten's finale.
Also, yes, Forgotten is done. I was GOING to continue it, but I realized that it honestly was at the best conclusion moment I could get for it. Besides, the game's system was really eh. Anyway, now we have this awesome stuff.
Get your characters up so you can start saving the innocent and fighting slavers!

Spoiler :
Anything indented requires the Feat above it.
One clarification on Magic Specializations. You can have as many Schools as you want if you're a magician, but you can only have two Specializations. You cannot strip a specialization later, so choose wisely. Also, if you are a mage, you can perform small tricks with any School regardless of whether you chose the Feat, but major things require it.
