The case of the vanishing XP...

Hello -

I don't have a screenshot, but at some point in my game, several of my units "lost" experience points. They didn't lose the promotions, nor did the loss of XP lower the threshold for the next promotion.

For instance, I had a Praetorian unit that had Combat 1-3 plus Woodsman 1-3, but it's XP showed 10/50. Yep, it carved almost 30 XP out of that unit. It happened just once, to some units, never before or again.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

if you upgrade a unit you keep the promotions, but lose all but 10 xp , unless it has a great leader attached, then you keep them all.

or did you lose points without upgrading?

Ah, I bet that was it. Thanks for the info! I didn't realize that you lost the XP like that. Yikes!
