so i was playing civ on my laptop last night and noticed this weird thing happening to my bombers. I would tell them to "go to" a city on my coast and then fly onward toward an island then finally once more to a small island farther out at see yet within reach of the first 8 moves. however in between island the plane would suddenly disobey the "go to" and take a hard left and fly into no where in the ocean is if the "go to" was guiding it. I would attempt to click the bomber to take it off the "go to" and be able to recover it for t he second half of its turn but it would suddenly be exhausted and die without using its second turn. happened with several bombers so i said "well dang ill manually guide them.. still happened. I would be without 2 squares of the island and the bomber would suddenly be on "go to" mode, turn left, and fly to its doom! i couldn't only get them safely to the island with a carrier.
what do you guys think?

Did your bombers' path cross the 0 longitude ? This region of the world is prone to strange behaviours..

I think it might have cross the games equator however ive flown several bombers across the equator in other spots and never had this disfunction. basically is it a game error or an actual bermuda triangle?

He means the "international date line". The game doesn't properly "wrap" around where Australia is on the EARTH map.

I had the same bug: my units were moving around one hill and they couldn't get out)

ahhhh i know what you mean.. Ill check it out right now cuz im fixing to play that same game.

Ive been trying to figure out a way to make peace with the computer characters and keep them from landing troops on my land or getting in my city limits and causing food loss. I dont wanna change governments away from democracy just to attack them. I suppose I could force them to have democracy also but they just have a revolution.

anyways........... ill see if that island in at the corner of the map and is not wrapping around correctly.

Bribe the invading troops. They'll be far from home and relatively inexpensive.
