So how exactly do you play this. Do you just post things over the thread or something? I've never seen one of these on the fanatics site before so I don't know. If I like what I hear then you can count me in (if there is any more space).

Take a look through the Democracy Game Forum. The sticky threads at the top will get you familiar with the game. In particular, the constitution thread will give you the mechanics of how we play.
Ok I have had a look around. Count me in. I have mailed the Minister of War (or whatever he is called) and asked if I could be the Minister of the Navy!
I've been checking this out alittle bit and what I don't understand is if it's kind of a multiplayer thing. And also do you need your CD to play? I don't have my Civ3 CD, but I will LOVE to join. If I don't need my CD count me in!

Yes, it's a sort of multiplayer game. No, you don't need the Civ3 game in order to play. Check out the Democracy Game Forum (there's a link in my post above) and register as a citizen to get started.
Game in a nutshell: The President plays the actual game turns according to instructions from the cabinet members. The cabinet members give instructions to the Pres based on feedback from the citizens. Each month a new cabinet and President are elected.
