The invasion fleet lands and bombards Kagoshima as well, as a few Arab military observors look on...

Celts - Turn 230

We're 2 turns away fr a Space Victory. :)

Izumo falls. Mass of MAs, MIs and artillery heading for next Japanese city up the coast. We got our 4th GL, which we used to build an MI army. :yeah:

Researching smart weopans in 4 turns.

Gems now connected to our empire; 2nd gems needs to be connected by workers. We suspected Arabian foulplay.

8 ICBMs now. :D

Building artillery, for our eventual Arabian extermination campaign.

Game will be emailed.

Gonna launch all your ICBMs and Tact nukes on your last turn Knight-Dragon? Or after you win :p

Also, i am going to try a pbem 'game' tomorrow by doing what i said in the chatroom.

Carthage is no more!

Also sank an Arab galley and an Arab battleship. :crazyeye:

Here is Carthage just before the fall:

Celts - Turn 231

One more turn to space victory. :D

The Arabs now have 2 ICBMs, but we still have 8 and more coming. :p

We have reached battleship parity with the Arabs. :yeah: Now building nuke subs as well, to hunt their nuke subs.

Our forces rampaging up the Japanese coastline...

So how many turns in a row have you guys been at war?
Not sure, but some of my cities are now celebrating WLTK days; so there must be some war weariness.

Regarding the nuking question... :mischief:

Good game.

yeh gg now nuke em all

Celts - Turn 233

Ceded Ulsan, Wonsan and Rusaddir to our Spanish allies.

Smart weopans tech in 1 more turn.

MAs had reached the outskirts of Kyoto. :)

Lots of recycling centers to be completed next turn; then we'd resume our war production.

Game will be emailed.

PS - Sorry, was busy playing game; didn't realize I got disconnected in the chat... :)

Spain congratulates our Celtic Cousins for reaching the stars!:goodjob:

Forgot to reassign our jets to our new Carthaginian cities. Also, lost three battleships to unseen foe! We did sink one Arabic battleship.

Celts - Turn 234

Kyoto falls. Japanese capital shifts way to the east, temporarily beyond the reach of Celtic forces. Nothing a transport or two can't solve. :)

The Celtic High Command is now trying to puzzle out how to cede an ex-Japanese city to the Spanish, w/o it falling immediately into Arabian hands... We might advise our Spanish brethren to temporarily make peace, after conquering the last Arab stronghold on the continent; and begin staging forces for a final showdown in Arabia. :)

We'd probably pass that last Japanese city to the east; so that the Celtic and Spanish forces can invade Arabia on different fronts. :)

Researching integrated defense.

Game will be emailed.

Our forces parity with the Arabs... We're equal in some areas, exceeding in others. :)

Our spies seem to have missed out on the Arab infantry, which they shld have about 10 or so.

Peace at last! After 44 turns of war, war, war Spain is once again at peace. It was not an easy thing to acheive and there were setbacks: lost a carrier and 4 stealth planes to the invisible foe! Realized there are subs about and learned not to move carriers first. :o Lost all our remaining modern armor in the attack on the last Arabian city on the Spanish continent. Luckily we have three armies of mecanized infantry. The all attacked successfully though the city remained in Arabian hands. Pulling all the stops the Spanish High Command decided to send in single divisions of mech infantry. The city fell to the first one. Peace was made and the Arabs paid 400g in reparations for the terrible bombing raids on Spain's north coast.

Celts - Turn 235

The Japanese are down to last 2 riflemen and 1 worker - having lost another 3 guerillas somewhere NW of Kagoshima.

We'll finish our airport in Kagoshima next turn. Kagoshima is now serving as the main staging point for the Celtic forces on the Arabian continent.

Building a few more ICBMs. The Celtic High Command is considering a pre-emptive nuclear strike to precede the assault on Arabia to save the lives of our soldiers; many of whom shall needlessly be lost in a conventional attack. :nuke: :smoke:

3 MAs and 1 MI had been airlifted to Tolosa this turn; they will sail for the last Japanese city soon.

Workers being moved fr Provincia Korea and Provincia Carthaginia to Provincia Nippon, to build RRs. The Japanese had neglected their rail network, or rather they didn't build one.

Game will be emailed.
