@DocT
Very kind of you to set this up Doc but I'm a bit curious about how the original Mice, aka BJ, Tat and yours truly, would fare on Deity (we just did DG) on our own. We started on emp. not really having played that level before and with the help of good supervisors we rolled them over pretty good. Now on DG as the Dutch we were a full team, and a very well merited one too, with hot shots like you (red hot), The Original Idiot and The Drummer Boy. Lul I know from elsewhere is a good player also. We have learned a bunch from all of you and I'm grateful for all the excellent advice.
I think it's time for us mice/rodents/rats (what a career :D ) too fall flat on our noses so we can come back and beg for more advice, but that's me.
In any case I'm up to my whiskers in studying until 4:th June and the sixth I go for a weeks holiday so I won't be able to do much civving until mid June anyway. It'll be enough to attend my own 2 SG's til then. The Romanes is just chaos/Rock n Roll and needs no attending really, but The Payback does.

So, Doc, this is not a sign up, but I'm looking forward to play with you, and rest of team, again. It's been a pleasure.
If this gets rolling I will certainly lurk and possibly ask stupid q's.

Yeah, that's what I meant exactly. Is hard to tell what you have gained if more skilled player gently corrects mistakes (alomost always gently anyway). General flaws in decisions/MM/trading will not show under such circumstances and you THINK you can master that level, but it's maybe not so.
If the said rodents could be adviced only in spoilers and "after the fact", then I would sign up smiling. Shortage of time is the same 'thou :( . For me pre planning and just general stalling until 13-14 June is required. Otherwise I have to be let in when under way with the game. All this is of course if Tat and BJ says Yes, and hopefully rest of team feels ok about it and feel welcomed as advisors in case they want to.

Hmmm..I'm still a 50/50 Emperor player.

But, the chance to do something like this doesn't come along very often. If you think a mediocre emperor player would stand to benefit from this(as opposed to just, uhm, losing) then I'd be happy to give this a go.

RL has me in knots right now, so I'm gonna pass and just lurk this one. Hopefully, when you go for diety, the schedule will be clear. Good luck. :)

I'm here.
Already tried Germany on DG and fared very bad. No early GA doesn't make warmongering all to easy, so I tried to go for a science based approach until panzers.

Didn't work though. Wrong tech research in the AA and I fell way behind and could never catch up in techs.

I'd like to volunteer ( If you accept me, that is ... )

I'm a deity level player in my SP games, and although I'm not experienced with SG games and random starts, I have a fair idea of what is requiered from me.

... and don't be fooled by my low post-count, I've been a lurker since early 2002.

I fully accept your decision if you reject me, since I have little to show for when it comes to documenting my skills or determination.

As much as I would like to play in this game I'm in the same situation as many of our teammates. I will be gone on weekends through the better part of the next three months (weather permitting :rolleyes: ).

The one game I can dedicate my time to is SGOTM7. With it being deity and AW it will be plenty difficult and about all I want to handle focus wise this summer.
