When Chieftess posted some demogame news on the front page, she included a link to the multisite one.
The link, as you may remember, was inconspicious and small. However, the sign up thread, which had been dead for a while, has had a flurry of people signing up, often on their first or second post.
If we ever think we need more participants, all we need to do is post a big link, for the MSDG only. I'm sure it will work great.
With diplomacy finally an issue, the MSDG is starting to get quite interesting. I think another reason I heard some complaints of the game being too inactive was simply because the game was too isolated and slow. Now it's picking up the pace and getting very injoyable!
