yea im just gonna jack this fread and post my own story tata!
Glory of the Greeks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eversince the Byzantine Empire came to Greece after the Romans, not much have been heard from this small nation.
Until This certain game made Me, Warlord Jon of Sparta, their leader. They entrusted me to build them a great, rich nation and soon you shall find out how did I did in managing my small Hellenic Republic.
In around 3000B.C. I had successfully built a nation of 5 cities. Though, my nation was the smallest nation, we had the largest army of Hoplites and Swordsmen.
In the time of progression, we had to trade with other "bigger" nations for luxuries and more. But My Beautiful Nation had an "undesirable" neighbor. That "undesirable" neighbor, was the Netherlands. William of Orange had a problem, he was always annoyed with me, making my Foriegn Advisor Tab ugly(since everone was smiling except for him ).
This problem left me no choice but to declare war on the Orange William.

Having the largest army, we were at an advantage. After a couple of years, I had taken two of William's bigger cities; Rotterdam and Groningen and a hefty pile of Gems.
I decided to offer a peace treaty in exchange for the knowledge of "The Republic". So we made peace and I learned "The Republic". However, I decided not to change my government, Anarchy could not be a wise choice, since I planned something right after our treaty.
After 10 years[1turn], I decided to halt researches and made my Entertainment Budget my priority, since the captured cities might try to defect to thier father land, the Netherlands.
Having this enacted on my Nation I had to trade for technology. William of Netherlands, again, never stopped his angry look at me. So I made deals with him my way. One day, He had Feudalism, and I did not. So I offered 300 gold for it and unfortunately he did not agree. That action meant only one thing- Greek-Netherlands War II.
This time my warriors were already Promoted to ELITE status, giving me more advantage over the war.
After a few more decades we made peace again and I learned Feudalism for free and I had successfully captured 2 more cities; Maastricht and Breda.
That war made it clear that I was superior to the Netherlands, but again, William was so stupid, he did not change his face from angry to happy, Plus he did not give me two Techs as a punishment from the previous war, I had enough reason for my Nation to declare war again- Greek-Netherlands War III. Right after the peace treaty for the Greek-Netherlands War II(Technically, in just 1 turn I made peace and declared war again)

And after that, as what Fledging nations would do, they had a RoP with Russia, a pretty big neighbor, one more step would mean war between them versus little Greece. Hence, having lots of money from the no-research law, I bought techs from them, a little higher than what was enough, and traded formerly-Dutch owned Gems. And by this time I had already advanced to the Middle Ages.
I was, therefore, no longer called "'Warlord' Jon of Sparta" but from then on I was called "'Sir' Jon of The Spartan Knights"
Obviously, William failed to get Mother Russia's Millitary alliance against me.HAHAHA

Greece-Netherland War III
This is what happened after: check the Screenshot:
I had not only managed to capture thier Capital City, I had captured some of its adjacent cities; The Hague and Eiden-something.
And if this was not enough another War was waiting, he had created an army of archers with the few cities left and tried to attack Delphi, the city with my precious Gems. Greece-Netherland War IV had begun. Stupid William..[sigh]
I had only captured 1 more city from this war, I knew he was weak.
He had only 3 more cities.. and that 3 cities were just enough to let The Netherlands survive.
This all happened just because he did not smile
This war was obviously the last between our two Nations. 4 continous Wars was enough to pacify the thought of -The Great Netherlands- and bring in the new name of the Greeks -The Great Greece-
After so many years, Greece flourished and so did its now-rival Russia. Greece had become as large as Russia since the Greek-Netherland Wars. And I had been doubtful of Russia's intentions. Netherlands on the other hand was in great need of a Protector- me....
