Here's some basic info about it: (Taken from the FAQ)

What is this played/How do I play?
Each month, a few saves for C3C will be uploaded. You download it, play the game, and post your results in the spoiler thread. You can attach screenshots or a log if you want to. You must keep a save to upload if asked.

What patch level is it?
1.15b, this seems to be the most widely used patch. This may be changed at some point though.

What if I win?
We will get the results based on your honesty. The one with the most Firaxis score will be the "winner." The winner of the game gets 1 point. The runner up gets 1/2 point. The 3rd closest to winning gets 1/4 point. You can also get points by being the first to win. The same scoring system exists there. Points are cumutative in the two scoring options.

Why do these points matter?
They matter because at the end of the year, if you have the most points, you win the whole thing for that year. Yes, very important.

Do we support Macintosh?
Not at the moment, sorry.

Do I have to play every month?
No, you just have to play when you want a relaxing game of C3C every month.

Are games ever more often than per month?
Yes. Sometimes games will be more often.

Do I need to play on a certain difficulty?
No. You can play on one of the following: Regent, Chieftan, Sid, or Emperor.
