the government collapses... or will :)

The putsch starts here! I say that the Duck is the best person to take over the Presidency and although we are nearly at election time (next weekend apparently) he may be able to play another turn before then. Numbers are getting fewer and this poses severe problems to our government, although not a collapse!
(Incidentally, why did you try to put a :) after this terrible news? No matter, the empire will continue and the Zulus ought to tread carefully.)
Duck to take charge and then to assess our options later this week!
I'd be surprised if we have enough people to put forward more than one candidate for many positions for the forthcoming elections though. I am quite happy working with Kev in the Interior Ministry and plan to continue, although I appreciate that radical changes may have to take place. Is Pellaken dropping out completely then? What happened to AoA? We need a show of faith in our team here! Rally to the cause behind Duck, the creator of Civ Democracy!

Well, I am still here, not that it makes much difference. :D Yep, Duck, time to dust off the crown sitting in your attic, ascend the throne and rule once more! We need more sense of direction here.

We could change the format of the game. Instead of having specific threads we could just have general discussion threads which would still be started by the department leader. Everyone could be allowed to download the saved game so that less screenshots need to be posted. This would give the president more freedon in his choices and hopefully use less time.

I'm still here too if there is an interesting deputy spot... I'm not going to minister, since it's the reason why I left... But if someone needs a deputy who can come a few times a week, I could be of some use, but surely not at a higher position...

Well, that is if you need me

We need more players so goddam bad!

And now everyone is going to the Civ3 gamel... we will not fail! We will continue to play, even if it is only 3 people left.;) Well maybe not that bad.

I wish everyone would come back....

With The resignation of president pellake , have take over the presidential position. But thing's will change now around here.
everybody read this thread:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19013

so unknown ,Spycatcher and all the other lurker's ,please take up a position again.Under the new reformation's you will not even have half the work a deputy would have had under the previous system ,while you have almost all the power you can have.:D

Open spot's:

Trade leader
Expansion Leader
Science Leader (prob. Pellaken)

and various deputy position's.

Note though that all these position's have changed though under the reformation's.Every leader will now make his own decission's rather than polling the people for it ,but the people have the power to override that if they get enough support.

Basicly it mean's that ,if you would do the expansion department (wich you have done before) ,you would not open poll's anymore on where to build a city or what region to explore ,rather you would decide in one thread (between every game turn's) wich area you should explore next and where to settle new city's.The tread would serve as information to the public ,and it would be one sticky thread and further nothing more need's to be posted ,unless the majority of the people disagree with you and then you would be forced to open a poll (wich wouldn't be very coman).

Same goes for the trade leader ,he would decide between wich city's trade route's would be established ,unless if he would be overrided by the people.

I hear there's an opening for the Military Leader.

Uhm, Ren is our military leader. But he is missing a deputy... :)

Sorry, as I said, that was what I was told. I did notice in another thread that he was looking for a deputy. Becka jumped in to help out, so I'm guessing it's taken care of now.

Either way, I'm available to assist, as minister, or deputy, or citizen. :)
