Install hamachi and set it up, then copy ip and run Civ4 - Fall from Heaven then go multiplayer, direct IP, and paste IP in the required field

when you opened hamachi, join the network above with the password ffh

then open civ and go multiplayer then direct Ip-connection and enter my ip address above and join

Bah, FFH2 locked after I told it to connect. I'll try again.

EDIT: It happened again; after trying to connect, the music continues and I have the ability to move the mouse, but nothing in the Civ interface responds to clicking. For some reason I am unable to Alt+Tab out of Civ or otherwise see anything other than the multiplayer screen. I'm guessing it's a firewall issue (I'm using ZoneAlarm), but whereas I would normally be prompted for permission or something, I am unable to see anything other than the civ multiplayer connection screen.

Nah, after such connectivity issues we skipped session and we'll hopefully play next week. Two players had troubles connecting even after we tried everything, and 3 players didn't come (Claire had some urgent stuff to do but said to join latter, she couldn't because we weren't playing, and I don't know about Vorschlump and Brainpan) Much2much said to get licence for hammachi so hopefully we'll get some more stable connection next week.

Issues were mainly caused by firewall and if someone knows how to fix it advice would be appreciated.

I mistakenly believed it was 20 or 21 GMT. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER use any other time standard but GMT or schedules will end up being missed.

As I said in my original post, I could only start playing after the weekend. I'm free now, so I'll be ready for this coming Sunday. My time zone is QOTC +5.47.

That doesn't seem to be correct. Me and another player can NEVER connect if we are not in the same channel.
