The One+Henotheism?

An idea that entered my head during World Religion class is what if all the angels are created by a splitting of the one? If you have ever read the John Varley novel Demon, you should know what I am talking about. I included it in spoilers becasue it basicly ruins the who series if you know it before hand

Gaea is a living world, whose brain has splintered into 12 facets for each of the different areas of the world. This happened when the auxillary brain for a region, Oceanus, died and Gaea, unable to understand it, somehow contrived to have her personality split to form 12 different personalities for each of the reagions.

I remember reading somewhere that Ceridwen might not have been created by the One (I think Magister said that), so might have that caused the One to create the angels to cope with that, utterly deluding himself into believing his own creation.

I know this isnt cannon in any way, but I was just wondering about it. It might be of use in a story to someone.

I never said that Ceridwen wasn't created by The One, only that she may portray herself as such.

I know that I am incorrect, but I was interested in seeing other peoples opinions on it. In the book, the main character though that Gaea was right, until later. Might that be the same with the angels?
