UPDATE ON THE SERVER: Still down, the hard drive is failing again apparently, the hard drive is about 6 years old so it's not surprising. I'm in the process of restoring a backup to a different hard drive to see if I have more luck with that.

ok, I just joined the test game for the first time no problem. I chose a random civ and couldn`t quite figure out which one it mught be,(the player/civ list is up to date?)........so I took Spain. If I took someone else`s civ, I apologize, just take one that hasn`t been taken yet, to confirm you have no issuess joining the test game before the real one starts. Thx

I'll be starting the server tonight (probably about 10 hours from now, give or take a few), so you may miss a turn or two at the start, is that a problem? You're free to find someone to take those turns for you (if you can find anyone in time).

I think missing a few turn won't matter too much at this stage of the game.

Did I get an e-mail telling me that the new/real game had started ?....and that my random civ was China?. And it had the pass to register your leader for civststats. I think I did but I must of deleted it, instead of moving it to another folder. Please resend it. Thx

I just logged in and to my first turn as China. I also reistered my leader at civ.stats. 16 hrs left on the clock. Thx
