The Other Continent

We must protect the fact that we can see another coastline to the west.

If we can get mapmaking soon, we should be able to get someone over to that continent (or island) very early.

I take it there's no way we can see a land square on that continent and post a sentry in case any other units turn up?

If we move a unit to the squares w & w-sw of Shen Ling, won't that reveal 2 more squares, one of which *might* be on the other continent?

Not too sure of unit sight distances...

Tru, Tru, on this type of map and knowing only 3 other civs Map Making should be a Priority.

Our friends from Apolyton are getting Map Making really fast so maybe we can get it from them. It would be a nice addition and we could find interesting things there, maybe goody huts !

When Shen Ling's borders expand in 6 turns time will it reveal more of the fog of war?

Not from across the water. I'm fairly sure that the secrets of those lands will not be revealed until we get someone over onto those shores.
