How does the power graph work in this game? Do Europeans and/or natives react to it, do they react to the same degree, and how important is power level overall compared to Civ 4? I've just been playing the first 100 turns or so and then starting over, over and over, and I was just DoW'd on for the first time, by Montezuma. I had never done anything to provoke him, but he was way above me on the graph. I never mess with soldiers at all while I'm starting out, in fact I sell the initially soldier's guns early on.
