Um, no. If the snail is progressing 1 metre per day up a tree that 15 metres tall then the snail will get to the top on day 15.

Do the maths.

first day 4m, then he sleeps. Next morning he starts from 1 to 5. day 3, 2 to 6m; day 4, 3 to 7m .... day 10 9 to 13m; day 11, 10 to 14m; and the 12th day he woke up at 11 m and before sleep he reach 15m

but guys i haven't got a clue what to ask, the question is open

He starts day 12 at 11 metres. He climbs 4 metres - he's at 15, on the top. If he slides, or gets a fotthold there - it doesn't matter, he's reached the top.

Simple if you're in kindergarten where a high percentage of children got the answer fairly quickly. A toughy if you're a Stanford undergraduate, where the low proportion of those asked answered correctly.
