I had two zululand civilizations in one game. One was in yellow and had zimbabwe as the capital and the other one had Ulundi as the capital and was in dark blue. They both had chief shaka but They were seperate civilizations with both impi warriors but when i declared war on one the other one didnt care but when i attacked the second zulu with ulundi as the capital the people in the first zululand started revoting for attacking their country.

The same thing happended with america where one had new york as the capital and the other one had washington as the capital so i had to fight two zulu and 2 american civilizations. Why did it clone the nation?

Save please.

I know I've seen a thread around somewhere where this happened. I think there was a succession game tried this way also.

I believe that a 31-flavors game with all random might be the cause. At least that's where I saw 2 Portugals.

Interesting - can you declare war against one particular Zulu or do you declare on all of them at the same time? Hmmmmm . . . .

Hmmm, maybe it does not only happen in Vanilla ...
I'll try to find a save, though I don't know if I'll be able to find it (it happened over a year ago).

Since CKS decided to link to my silly SG where I got this to happen, I suppose I could answer a couple of questions that came up here.

Citizens revolt on the basis of nationality, not for which controlling player they belong to.

You only declare on one of them. You declare war against a player, not a nationality.
