My classic elephant shot 
This was one of my favourite battles. Both side were roughly 2400 men each, and this pic shows what eventually became a complete encirclement of the enemy army, wiping them out completely. We lost 337 men, only 20 of their soldiers survived.

That kind of pics always make me laugh. It's even better when 3 diplomats are next to a city, and the city is in some damn Sarmatia. Great place for a civilized meeting.

@Diplomats; One weird bug in M2 is when a diplomat stands next to your city for turn of ter turn, and during thew AI turns does the animation of making a diplomatic meeting but nothing comes up.

I don't that's a bug. It is a diplomat trying to bribe and is a warning of an impending attack.

Now that makes sense.
Wow, those diplomats that do that msut suck and get really bad stats since they do it turn after turn sometimes.

When diplomats fail at their actions, they may get bad traits or just get a lower influence(RTW). So when they fail many times, their chances of success are minimal.

I've noticed that in M2, at least, I think I have, it's probably because someone else passed him by or waited next to him for a turn.
The Free French spearmen cannot contain the Spanish Knights much longer.

Genuine technical difficulties - I had to reinstall the entire game, and as of yet I haven't redownloaded the mod. The savegame, however, I still have safely hidden away for a later date.

I started playing RTW (I played it when I've been playing M2 mostly) and have noticed that there are a LOT of diplomats meeting and wandering around towns in Germany and Poland and Dacia.
