The Second Ever Civ IV Anarchy Game!

Okay, here's a screenshot:

Moved the warriors, then ended turn. The lion, instead of attacking, moved SE. What should PH do?

Well, stupid lion. PH blocks the direct way till we have founded the city.

Settlers moves in place to settle next turn.

I'll move the settler into the city spot if there's no objections...

Ended turn, the lion still doesn't want to fight - it moved south. Founded Lost Desert and started on the Warrior. Here are a couple screenshots:

Meanwhile, Shillen's Son has completed his goal of circumnavigating Lake West, but there's a lion to be dealt with:

S'sson goes SE -> S and fortifies. Hope the lion sees us.

In LostDesert emphasize production till we have the obelisk.

PH can scout now.

Emphasize production didn't change anything. Should I automate PH or do you want to tell me where he scouts?

The biggest downside to building Lost Desert is the +4 maintenance from distance to palace. We can run 60% research with no loss of gold or 100% with -5/turn.

BTW, 100% gets Polytheism in 3, 60% gets it in 6. I'll end my turn once I have a percentage.

Put the citizen on the NW hill. Should give us one hammer more.

We might have called it "Lost money in the desert".

Okay, I just thought that founding a city might change his route a bit... he'll be going around Greece then.

Ended turn, we're down to 38 gold w/2 turns to Polytheism and 5 after that to Pottery. The cowardly Lion ran away SE, and S's son moved into the forest where he'll fortify if the lion doesn't attack next turn.

I don't want to bend rules. So let's call the hut/settler/city a detour and continue with the former task. :goodjob:

Ended next turn, the lion didn't attack, so S's son fortifies. PH continues to go around Greece. Question: Does "go around" mean that he goes all the way around, or just halfway and then continues to explore west?
