Provolution
Sage of Quatronia
I don't think anyone here was trying to negate something for fun Provolution, a big aspect of this game is the process of decision making and you certainly weren't following it, when you refused to accept input by citizens (in fact all those who chose to post) or when you refused to answer questions about your plan.
I'm glad you finally changed your mind and have altered the plan so that it is acceptable to more people. I know this one will succeed much better than either my original idea of what we should do, or your original idea.
The refusal and ignorance to inputs go both ways. It took my helluva long time to get the idea across that we need to wait with the assault till some units are healed, and that the keshik needs some defense, and we need a smart way to deal with the elephant. It was also hard to convince about the need to split up in two stacks during the healing phase. I admit that it was a mistake to ignore the keshiks no-penalty for attacking across the river, and can see that some players were worried if the AI would be smart enough to go around that foodplain position. I admitted my mistakes here, but see none by some of among my critics who just wanted a mass assault next turn.
If I have listened to the initial choir with obedience, we would be much worse off than with the present plan. Citizen input yes, but not to excess, without contesting the original mainstream thought, we would not have come to the new plan. This is the crossfire of leadership and citizen input, whatever that is.
You were the harshest critic of this plan, without giving the same courtesy you seem to require. This soured the entire discussion from the outset, and I am sorry I became polarized in the continuation.
