Intoduction
Dune was born in 4000 BC, when Rome was built. His parents were settlers looking to build a new city good enough for him to survive, as they had been living in musty, fungi-filled cave with little to no food. They had lived in this cave with 1000 people, as this cave was huge. But they had never been able to have enough resources to use on all of them. Alot of them would have to go out gathering seeds or hunting boars as the cave was in a thick forest called Gubarash. The king of the new city Rome was voted for back at the cave. His name was Augustus Caeser. As the cities first warrior, Dune had been ordered by Augustus Caesar to explore the area around him. Dune had kept a journal filled with information about what he found. This story will be about strictly his Journal Entries.
Chapter 1 : The Exploration
Day 1 : From Rome I went North East and discovered a Forest. I have claimed this forest as part of our land. I will move back to rome to tell Augustus tomorrow.
Day 2 : I have told Augustus of my discovery. The forest is now officialy our land. He has sent me to explore more.
Day 3 : I found a stream and some plains east of Rome, this will be a good spot for a fresh water supply. I will have to tell the king when I get back.
Day 4 : I have found a village outside our territory. They have given me a settler. I will bring the settler to Rome with me and ask Augustus where he wants our new city.
Day 5 : The settler has found Rome before me. I am still journeying, I will be back tomorrow.
Day 6 : The settler was told to go south and make a city there.
Day 7 : Once again, Augustus has commanded me to go explore, except, this time south. Every 3 days exploring, he will now give me a gold piece since I have been achieving alot and helping Rome Expand.
Day 8 : Antium is built on some hills. I will be going east of Antium to explore.
Day 9 : I have discovered more hills. I will continue south.
Day 10 : I have found a village. This village has done like the last one ; given me a settler. I will be bringing him back to Rome. We have also met Victoria, the english ruler. She seems to be nice. Today is also my payday. I get 1 gold piece when I visit back to Rome.
Day 11 : I have came back the way I came with the settler.
Day 12 : I am one day from Rome. Tomorrow Augustus owes me 2 gold pieces for being out 6 days.
Day 13 : I am back at rome. I have been awarded 2 gold pieces.
Day 14 : I am told to go explore. Cumae has been founded on the coastline east of Rome.
Day 16 : Rome's borders have expanded. We now have gems near our city. Once our worker is made we sha'll be able to use them for hapiness.
Day 17 : I have found a village who have taught our civilization Bronze Working. We can now make Spearmen if we have a source of copper. Boy how I'd like a spear!
Day 23 : I have found another village who has gave us a scout. He will be taking over my work for looking around. I sha'll be going back to defend. Augustus Caeser has premoted me to the General of the Army. Today we have also met President Washington of the Americans and Joao 2 of Portugal. I can't wait till I am back home.
Day 24 : A warrior has been made in Antium. He will be my first apprentice. I will give him a defense job. I have also killed a yellow maned beast roaming out in the wild. I heard it was called a "Lion". I can't wait to tell the king!
Day 35 : I have made it back to Rome. I am beginning to teach the new warrior combat procedures. He calls himself Bob. I have never heard that name before! It must be unique.
Day 36 : Joao 2 has put a warrior near Rome.
Day 47 : By orders of the king I have been moved to defend Cumae. I have just arrived now.
Day 51 : Some villagers have came across a settler yesterday. This settler made a new city across the continent called Neapolis.
Day 52 : Our new city Neapolis has asked to join the American Empire. Augustus Caeser is getting very pissed and wants a warrior up their immediately to take care of the riots. But of course, it has to be very far away. We won't be able to get there for another month.
Day 62 : Including me, there are now 4 warriors. Our civilization has one of the best militarys yet. I have begun teaching the other 2 the ways. We are also making archers, boy, those would be cool for our military force, ranged combat.
Day 65 : Some villagers have taught us how to ride horses. I wonder if we can find some horses around our cities anytime soon.
Day 66 : Another warrior has been made. But I am not going to train him. He is about a 30 days journey away. And that would be risking too much. There has been too many lion and wolf sightings that you are not allowed to leave the borders. Oh well.
Day 73 : An archer has been made in Antium. This is great! I am going over to Antium to visit him.
Day 78 : I have made it to Antium. I am now speaking with the Archer. I will be staying here for 3 days then going back to Cumae.
Day 80 : Our scout has been attacked by a patch of wolves, luckily, he has survived although he is alittle shaken up.
Day 81: I am on my journey back from Antium. I have also heard of a raging fire in a forest in England. I wonder how much gold they are spending to rebuild the forest.
Day 88 : Yesterday I have returned from Antium. Today an Archer has been completed in Rome. Work has begun on a World Wonder called the Stone Henge. It will help our culture in Rome wildly!
Day 92 : Augustus Ceaser is getting very pissed at the citizens of Neapolis. This isn't the first time they asked to join the Americans. He doesn't trust them.
Day 98 : We have gotten acess to iron. I am asking the king for him to upgrade me to an Axeman, but he doesn't have enough gold. He says as soon as he has enough, I will be premoted.
