GoogleCiv 2.0.0 coming...
This is the next poll for the Voices of Civilization playlist., representing the Classical Era. A small poll, but has a minipoll seperate to this one that I'll explain in a moment. Only five options are available, again the top two most favored tracks will be in the playlist;
the Roman monologue - 'the Envy of All the Lesser Civilizations'
the Paradise Found monologue - 'the Currents of the Mighty Pacific Ocean'
---
Chichen Itza - 'The katun is established at Chichen Itza. The settlement of the Itza shall take place there. The quetzal shall come, the green bird shall come. Ah Kantenal shall come. It is the word of God. The Itza shall come.' - the Books of Chilam Balam
the Hagia Sophia - 'For it soars to a height to match the sky, and as if surging up from amoungst the other buildings it stands on high and looks down upon the remainder of the city, adorning it, because it is a part of it, but glorying in its own beauty.' - Procopius, Aedificis
the Kremlin - 'The law is a fortress on a hill that armies cannot take or floods wash away.' - the Prophet Muhammed
---
Now the minipoll, I also want to include the quotes from entering a new era, so as to define each period of time, so seperate to the quotes are the four era quotes. The most favored will also enter into the playlist under the title 'Classics'. To vote on these simply indicate, in any fashion, within a reply comment one of the four options below, either by the number within the parentheses, attaching the corresponding smiley, or in any other way indicate the desired quote.
(1) = 'Proud is the spirit of Zeus fostered kings. Their honor comes from Zeus, and Zeus, God of council, loves them.' =
(2) = 'He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened.' =
(3) = 'The king's might is greater than human; And his arm is very long.' =
(4) = 'Welcome to the Classical Era.' =
