The Volcano Errupts!!!!

Ah yes, you are correct. I meant 2,000 nautical miles, not knots.

The soccer team; Icy Penguins Manager, John Christer, Armed his soccer team and paradropped in the middle of the island. They were heavily armed and fought for for land so that they could have a place to build a training center and get some gems to support their building of the first soccer stadium in Fanatika. After We kicked some elven butt, The Icy Penguins terretory looked like this:

*Three X-Wings fly above the island.*

Zarn: Halt! I will not permit absolute chaos on this island. Everything should be dealt with peacefully. There is no need to fight over this land. Anyone that refuses to try to deal with this peacefully, is considered hostile to the Jedi Council. If someone retaliates from an attack, we will not consider them hostile.

*The three X-Wings circle the island, spotting all the factions. Then they leave.*

edit: OOC simplification: the first to incite a fight is considered the have declared war on the Council.

Hmmm... I dont think our advancment in the techs allows you to use X-wings... And since we havent invented the laser, your sabers dont works so what have we to be afraid of? How many people are jedis anway? two? hehe....

Lightsabers don't require tech, but the Force. Besides, the X-Wings are being sold, because of the late tech.

Ok, then, I wont go to conflict, but I wont give up any terretory either..

You are allowed to defend yourself. The Council sees the current borders as the temporary ones until negotiations in the Jedi Temple in Bavaria.

The Jedi Has no power over Tiburòn Island and Im pretty sure that the other inhabitants here garee with me.. The Jedi council has no rights deciding the country limits...

You misunderstood. We want to hold negotiations. We are not the ones that will decide who gets what.

I wish to state my intentions to take control of the island, for the good of Fanatika.

Plexus. You are the Chosen one, but don't rush things. You still have way too much to learn. Beating a sith, doesn't make one indestructable. Uses your senses.

Vanir wishes to announce that intends to use its full military force to ensure that the island remains FREE, INTERFACTIONAL TERRITORY (the way Bavaria once was in Medieval times.) Any attempt to take control of the entire island by any one group will be met with overwhelming force from Vanir. We lay no claim to any territory on the island, as we are well passed our days of expansion. To deter anyone from getting the idea of taking control of the island, Vanir is placing 2 Mounted Infantry Divisions (infantry in guncarrier halftracks) and 1 Armored Division, along with a squadron of fighter/bombers. Let it be known by all that this is a force of peacekeeping, not of occupation. And Plexus, know that if you do follow through with your intentions, you will not be excused from Vanirian intervention because of your membership in the Jedi Council. I am sure Lord Zarn would not disagree with me that steps would have to be taken to destroy you and your army.

The Dadaists sense danger
Reedy: Im gettin the hell outta here!
And with that, the dadaists leave. Besides, they have to go tourture Bill Gates.
@GM: Cupertania is with you on this one. Sir SaaM the Sensible cedes temporary control of the Cupertanian Guard (aprox 10,000 infantrymen)
A small amount of Dadaists remain, in their small colony, hoping for the looming war to pass.
And John: Please dont piss off the Jedi. You wouldnt want to anger a high ranking council member and his city now, would you?
(Penguin: Home to over 300 Jedi, all trained by the Sir SaaMs)

Yes, Grandmaster. I will send six Jedi squads (one squad: 8 Jedi) to your assiatnace. Two (of the three) X-Wings, are also available for use.

That puts the total peacekeeping force (so far) at:

2 Division Mounted Infantry (Vanir)
1 Division Armor (Vanir)
1 Squadron Fighter/Bombers (Vanir)
1 Division Infantry (Cupertania)
6 Squads Jedi (Jedi Council)
2 X-Wing fighters (Jedi Council)

Anybody still interested in controlling the island? ;)

Also, although they will not be stationed on the island, I have 2 Rangers (special forces) teams ready to quick-deploy anywhere in the world the moment hostilities begin. Remember that this means that if you attack the island, I can have 16 special forces operaters on your home soil and in your house within an hour.

The fleet of Rhineland lands, disembarking 3 complete brigades of heavy infantry and 2 artillery companies. More welcome than the troops and securing force are the vast supplies of foodstuffs that accompany them. As the land was far too new to supply sustenance of the many peoples who had landed there the relief was critical.

The Count of Schlachtfeld quickly set about fulfilling the legal requirements of officially claiming the island for Fanatika. The captured English frigates and several privateers that were enlisted in Huntington patrolled the waters, depriving Chinese and English interests from access to the isle. A permanent military base was begun, handled by the famed Vanir Engineers. Scouts and emisaries were sent to all of the factions on the island informing them where provision stations would be set up in their areas.

A second convoy of provisioning ships, sent by the Count of Eis Mauer were sent to various spots of the aisle to help the various colonists until the full provisioning stations could be implemented.

It was vitally important that these early settlers be successful and the resources of Sud Bezits and Eis Mauer were doing everything possible to ensure that success.

The Dadaists remain in their colony.
Reedy: Anybody here? Im back and Ive brought Bill Gates with me. Were going to force him to speak only in Binary! (OCC: in accordance to the tech rules, Computers are technically one tech away, allowing me to hold the software mongol as prisoner)
We got the Peacekeeping forces to sign off on our community. We are officially "Dadaton", the southern branch of Cupertania.
So, feel free to go on with whatever art you had planed. Just stay inside the town walls.
And so the Dada comunity was allowed to stay on the island, inhabiting one small tile (the bonus grassland w/ gem). While this went on, however, war was on the brink, with Cupertania fighting in it.

An aerial convoy of 20 four-engine cargo planes flies in to the airstrip recently built on the island by the Vanirian Engineering Corps. They land and unload their freight: MREs, purified drinking water, gasoline, aircraft fuel, ammunition, and medicine. The supplies are distributed to the various Vanirian units, local civilians, and the rest is stockpiled in the warehouse at the airfield. The planes then return to mainland Fanatika.
