The Volcano Errupts!!!!

Zarn - Just to lett you know, you have a Jedi Knight in Vanir :).

I know. Three of the four people in Vanir showed open support. Snow, GM, and you all showed it. GM is also a spiritualist, so he could influence them. Come to think of it Vanir is powerful influences on the Council and Spiritualism.

I allow the Jedi Council to use my land as troop recovery. The people of Tiburon City will treat you well...

Vanir is glad to see that the tensions are declining. However, to absolutely ensure that nothing happens, I am sending a squadron of 6-engine heavy bombers to the island. That is all.

We are glad that you send peacekeeping forces, but we must remind that some of the people of the tiburon island can rise in a rebellion if they feel to heavily watched over..

Then your people should know that any aggression from them means war with several factions that make up the peacekeepers.

Sir John, I am warning you now. If one of your citizens so much as spits at a Coalition peacekeeper, I will level your entire city with my bombers. Do not underestimate us. We do not much like being threatened by the likes of you.

So... Let me understand this... You plan on keeping peace by making war? Seems like one heck of a plan to me.

Just because you are the Great Prince of Vanir does not mean anything. You get cocky to fast... which is a major flaw.

Unless I get attacked... I have no plans to attack someone esle. Neither does the other occupants seem to. I request you leave.... Intill you do this island will never be in peace.

Also... I support Zarn's bordor layout for the ownership of the island.

No, my good Prince Utopia, I intend to keep the peace by making people think twice before launching any aggressive attacks. I have just as much right to be here as you do; we are guests of Cupertania, and are staying within their borders. We will not leave until we are certain that nobody harbors any ambitions of total control. And believe me, Sir Strider, if I were as cocky as you say, I would taken control of the island by now. I have not so much as claimed any territory, something you cannot say. Perhaps you only wish us to leave because you yourselves secretly wish to launch an attack? I know not. We will stay, and will not leave until we are absolutely sure that neither Sir John, nor you, nor Noldodan's elves are planning anything.

On a different note, it seems that Zarn's plan is receiving widespread approval. That is good. :)

First off... Cupertania has been a Utopia allie longer than it has been Vanir... Cupertania also aided Utopia in a conflict against Vanir. Utopia has no reason to attack one of it's greater allies.

Sir John is a Squire of mine... He is part of my house... as is Sir Saam and CivGeneral... All of which are also within Vanir... and control there own house's as well....

The only person I would have any reason to attack would be the elves.... And that would be to only control more of the island myself. But if I wanted more of the island for myself... why then do I support Zarns plan?

Your logic is admirable, Strider. Indeed, there is no good reason why you would attack anyone. But there is no reason for me to leave either, as the threat of a war between any other faction still remains. I will stay within the bounds of New Cupertania until all threats have passed. Even you cannot deny that Sir John specifically mentioned that his citizens might become "restless" and launch an "uprising." Last I checked, that is a subtle way of putting "if you don't leave me the hell alone, I'll attack you." Sounds like a threat to my way of thinking, my friend. The topic is dead; I am staying, with the understanding that you have no motive for war.

Hello again. I have been away unexpectedly for a couple days, and I am sorry about that. I'm just popping in to let everyone know that I fully support Zarn's plan, and further state that I wish to make a gift to the government, the mountain SW of their current holdings, and also the hills directly south of it. I make this gift in goodwill, and encourage the other landowners of Tiburón Island to do the same.

I further wish to state that currently the heavy weaponry from the mainland is being shipped out by the Montpelier, including the artillery, machine guns and the Montpelier itself. I also wish to make it known that the Elves and I have no quarrel with the other factions residing on the island, and encourage them to welcome the peacekeepers and help them in any way possible. Thank you.

Um.. strider... Im a Knight of Vanir. Im also in the Council. I pledged troops. I wouldnt recomend starting any conflicts now.

I'm not starting any conflicts.... I'm giving him advice... advice which he turned down. People like to do stuff by themselves... with no guard or peace keepers breathing down there back. I was simply advising him that the best way to keep the peace was to leave. (As Sir John does not have any problems with the other fractions of the island... He only has problems with the peace keepers themselves)

The soccer team; Icy Penguins Manager, John Christer, Armed his soccer team and paradropped in the middle of the island. They were heavily armed and fought for for land so that they could have a place to build a training center and get some gems to support their building of the first soccer stadium in Fanatika. After We kicked some elven butt, The Icy Penguins terretory looked like this:

Two things: No paratrooping! Remember we have tech rules! The other thing: I won't attack you for this, but it sure does make me want to...

Actually... He didn't take any terrority from the elves... He took it from myself and Saam.

My final decision is this:

1 division of Vanirian light infantry will remain on the island, staying within the borders of Cupertania's territory. They will be supported by a suqadron of fighter/bomber aircraft. They will serve partially as peacekeepers, partially as defenders of Cupertania (Vanir's allie), and partially as a projection of Vanirian power over a small area of the island (as we have no claims on actual territory.) This will not change, no matter how much Strider or anyone else badgers me.

If all support the plan, then the peacekeepers can withdraw. I will withdraw the two squads I just send. I will also withdraw an additional three squads. Only three remain (24 jedi).
