I'm thinking of starting up another game soon. I'll checkout content they released. I read the review of the console version in my local paper today (they only review console games, so I figured it was a console version). I suppose that is what they've been working on the past 11 months or so since the release. And here I was hoping for an expansion or the Witcher 3. Stupid consoles.
I think a game like this is better to play on the PC (and from the review, it definitely looks that way).
And I did love the English voice acting as well. Much better than the same sets of voices I keep hearing over and over from Bethesda and Bioware. The elf companion you get in Dragon Age 2 also does voices (more than one) in Skyrim, and in Star Wars: The Old republic. I think he has a cool voice, but it's tiresome hearing the same voices all the time. Did they record the voices in London (I think they may have on the first Witcher if I was paying attention to the credits properly)? I wonder if Geralt is voiced with an American accent in the UK version of the game too. I'd imagine so.
