Turkey's desire to make sure a theocratic party doesn't run will ensure their nation remains free from the tyranny of religious dogma in the form of a government. Now your nation is simply pulling for straws in order to condemn Turkey which will hold the elections you want and create a constitution as you want. I am sure your nation disallows a Communist Party as any sane nation would.

Germany has already refused support to Turkey unless the Turks and the Muslims can reach a "peace of sorts." The situation is quickly becoming dangerous and another war is not what anatolia needs, let alone Europe.

The CSA alone can't, but the combined output of CSA, South Africa, Nippon, Italy, and yes (unfortunately) the USSR can easily supplant the CPO for Europe's oil desires. While it may be initially more costly, in the long term it not only brings increased trade for these nations (and less for the CPO), but allows Europe to operate on a more diversified, and thus more secure, source for it's oil needs.

As such Italy is hereby requesting that as a result of recent world events, the EEC will be seeking deals to be made with all of your nations to supplant the United States and Dar-al-Islam as the EEC's main source of oil.

Dar-al-Islam has threatened to shut its supply of oil to the EEC in our recent acceptance of Turkey as a member. As a result an alternative source of energy is required for the EEC. Germany may not endorse Italy's position or the entire EEC's, but it is an opinion which the European Commission has decided. (in EQ's absence I am assuming that the NPCs will side with me on the issue considering its either seek out new oil sources, or lose out entirely. Not really a hard choice)

We are rather busy internally at the moment, and much too busy getting our nation together to waste time on other schemes that will hurt our country in the long run, as beneficial as they may be immediately.
