I have heard that if someone has more than one window open while they are browsing the forums it may list their other windows as 'Guest' as well.

One other privacy question: some peopl are sometimes listed as "Viewing Thread," not "Viewing Thread: This has got to be an error.... Why is that? They're not all moderators.

Some threads are in hidden forums. I presume that the posters are viewing threads in those, which is why those without access can't see the thread names.
