This is a tribute. :3

Moderator Action: Looks like a spam ad link. Link snipped until we hear more from Tuxu about what this thread is all about.

Are you guys serious?!

That's a tribiute to Kael's "Fall from haven" mod and all of it's mod-mods! I was sure enough that the Iconic Hyborem face would give that off.

Obviously, I was wrong...

Rise from Erebus, Ashes of Erebus, Master of Mana and probably more that I've forgot to list here.

The link was to "nationstates" which is a free text browser game with no commercial element afaik, you cant pay for it even if you want to lol! and that was beside the issue...

I'm working on a dystopian "hell-like" state that would be ultra religious(and when I'll get to 1 billion citizens I'll be able to give my religion a name: The Ashen Vail), the govrenment would be corrupt and the population under constant torture(like in hell and stuff...). Once I'd hit 750 million citizens I could name my leader Hyborem and before that once i reach 250 million citizens I could name my Capital city "Dis".

How the heck did you get from *that* to an advertising conspiracy?!

I've given links to everything I was refering to and have tried to keep them from within this forum to prove my merit(save two which I could not find so it's google and wiki)

I couldn't remember, the greatest song in the woooooorld. This is a tri-bute!

Sorry, that was my first association.

Moderator Action: Thanks for the explanation. This is the Off-Topic forum, where everything *but* Civ is discussed. That likely explains our collective ignorance ;). Would this "tribute" get better exposure in one of the threads devoted to the specific Mod you mentioned? Or perhaps in All Other Games, since you linked to a text-game? :hmm:

Man I've only played FFH once, the one bundled with Civ4 BTS. You have to educate us OT folk, we're all civvers, but we're a bit removed you see. A lot of us play civ because we like politics, history, economy, social organization structures, etc, so once we find off topic, we find other civ minded folks who want to talk about the real stuff so we just post here instead :p

Yeah well, my aim was to make some people smile and posting this in a civ related thread would probably get this post to get removed since it's not CIV at it's core - just a tribute. :)

which brings us to the next issue -

yes! that's where I was going with the post's name LOL
You've nailed it, good on you! :)

The Age of Ice scenario bundled with BtS shouldn't really count. It is extremely dumbed down when compared with the full mod. It lacks almost all of the core mechanics and only explains a tiny bit of the lore.

I'm sure there is at least one more FfH2 modmod of note that the OP omitted. I wonder which one it is...

Ohmygod, Nationstates.net is still running!

It has been so long....

YES! I know...

They took the old site down so they can switch it to the new one and I've lost my old nation for it, nowdays I've got another - Infernalistopia not included. :3

@MagisterCultuum -
All those FFH2 modmods are cool and I'm a die-hard fan of them however, the game gets nasty crashes when prod\com\res values go over a certain amount.

Try to max out your palace, say 10000 on all 3 yields, and let the game run - see how long you could play.
I wish there was some kind of a limiter that makes overhead value conform with what the game can actually run. :\
