Great, talking about insult to injury. The game teases you into thinking you will get that much money, but end up losing 2 gold, ha. :lol:

Are you asking about the current income? If so, once the next turn starts the correct value is displayed (unless the game is modded).
 
Nope, I've never had that happen. What's up with the wierd looking borders, though?
 
The weird borders show that a goody hut was popped. Once the Scientific Advisor disappears, the borders will reform to normal.
 
BTW, this was just a normal C3C game... no mods or anything.
 
How long did the weird number stay, just for the time the advisor showed up or even after that? Also did you check f1?
 
Well, I suppose if you make a government with no corruption, give every square 500 commerce, and make roads give +100 commerce to each square then yeah...
