This is which civs will be in Civilization III

, and it is just speculation, but I will be quite upset if the Vikings at least are not included

. The smart move (are you listening, Dan Maghaha???) would be to include at the very least all the currently available civs. It may only be speculation, but lets raise our voices now while there may still be time to rectify this most odious possibility.
 
I hope you are correct Efilroft Sul. I would like to see as many civs as possible in Civ3. I also think that the civ specific units are bad because what would happen if you were the Zulus and ended up against the Americans (w/ F-15's) and the Russians (W/ mig's) and your special unit is an impi? Has anyone thought about this. One might say that the zulu civ is not around at this time to have these types of special units but this is not the essence of this game. Have special units in scenarios and mod packs.

Is it me or CIV has never thought about muslim worlds ? And papacy ! Anyone would say Turks weren't important in history ? Or the Pope... or Bizantines. I think these 3 should be taken into account at all costs, they were too important in western civilization.
About the absence of africans civilizations except egyptians and zulus.. i think there werent many other very important in history development. Ethiops ? Guineans ? Berbers ? come on !! After these civs u should also add Maori's, Mayas, Incas, Goths and so on...

think of it... Bizantines, Papacy, Turks, some of the ancient muslims ( Omayaddes, Fatmides and so on... ). And what about Jews ?

I have a feeling that we can create our own civ and add it to the normal game.
 
It would be cool to have more than SEVEN civs at one time in a game(like today, 192+). They should have the limit be whenever you run out of colors(brown, pink, peach, black, gold, dark green + light green, gray, etc.). Also, besides the 21 civs in #2, they should have Turks, Arabs, Brazilians, Hebrews, Dutch, Slavs, Byzantines, Indochinese, Assyrians, etc. But, one problem with some of these is the special unit...

Forgot to say this before...
Why are some o you pissed about no Vikings or Celts etc.? You can just make your own Civ probably just like in Civ2, by editing the Rules file. The only thing different would be the envoy for your Vikings might look a little Oriental or something.

I wonder if we could add 16 players instead of 7 like in CTP2 rules I have put up to 24 players at a time
