Alright, for those people who installed fine and can actually run the CD/DVD, but the game simply doesn't start up, then do what I did: log in under another account on your computer.

I spent 2 hours upgrading/figuring out whats wrong but im too tech dumb to upgrade my stuff. When i check my specs after all that hard work, it still had its original specs! I was appalled. From experience, most of my former problems with computers were always solved with something elementarily simple. Like when i wanted to use my headshot, i spent a day tinkering with my settings when I realized that dell put a sticker over the plug for the headset

So try all the basics before you go wild and crazy buying video cards. I now run my game just fine as long as I log in under another user account. try some simple solutions such as reinstalling, restarting, or log out.

Yup, this worked. I only view this as a temporary solution however. And i feel VERY LET DOWN by Firaxis' Staff.

This game was rushed thru testing way to fast obviously.
