seems much less active than the Civ IV and V days. Did people all move to steam forum?

No real way to tell of course but there are 103k posts in Civ 6 general vs 650k in Civ 5 general. Obviously not very scientific, but 1/6 the posts seems like it is or will be much more active.

Social media is where it's at nowadays and old-fashioned forums are for old people ... I don't even 'get' social media let alone use it.

Threads drop off the first page of General Discussions in less than 24 hours; so it looks busy to me.
(Now the first two days of release, that occurred in under 6 hours)

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing. Perhaps people are posting more topics, but interacting in others' threads less frequently? There a a lot of 1-2 page threads, where it seems like 4-5 used to be the average.

It's hard to wade through all of the Civ4 rose-colored Moderator Action: <snip> posts but I buy the argument that there are now more ways/places to 'talk' about the game.
