So, now that E3's over, what did you think of this year's E3?

I thought it was good but not great. The 360 was very disappointing with the exception of Full Auto. The PS3 was alright but I have a feeling that some of the tech demos they showed were purely pre-rendered. The Revolution was also very disappointing mostly because they didn't show any tech demos for it whatsoever.

This was supposed to be the best E3 ever. And... it wasn't. I was a lot more amazed with 2004. Although that could mostly be blamed on that Zelda trailer that came out of nowhere. :)

But this E3... the Xbox 360 was horribly underwhelming. Mostly because their biggest launch title, Perfect Dark Zero, didn't even make an appearance in their conference. Although it did appear on the show floor, knowing Rare, it's going to be another few years before that game is ever released.

Sony's Press Conference was nothing but Kaz spouting off specs for two hours. The PS3 may have some damn good graphics, but those tech demos were actually rendered by computer graphics companies, and were not the PS3 running in real time. The PS3 will get to that point eventually, but it's still a bit disappointing.

Nintendo's conference is only underwhelming if you expected them to reveal a lot of stuff, which most people were, and they decided not to. You can't really call it "disappointing," because it's not as if Nintendo had nothing to show; they simply decided not to show it. The DS is looking great, though. :)

All in all, not as good as last year's E3. I think I expected too much out of this one...
