Thought Exercise 2: Most expensive unit?

This thought exercise is just for fun - I can't imagine any practical purpose.


I decided today to try to design the most expensive unit possible under normal rules.
Here's my entry; can anyone beat it?

Prototype Wave String Battery
Hovertank, String Disruptor (30), Stasis Generator (12), Fission Chamber, Bombards, Dissociative Wave
Total cost: 9,120

I kinda figured this was the sort of thing only I would be interested in

I think the problem might be that it's too easy to win Everything tells you how much it will increase the price, just pick the ones that tell you they cost the most.

I kinda wish it were harder, just so we could see all the strange and useless unit designs it would create.
