Spoiler Turn 293 - Opening Salvo :
The war to complete the Plegian domination has begun. Our first target is the Black Fang city of Teodor, a soft and undefended target. There are barely any Black Fang troops in the vicinity, and the city doesn't even appear to have an arsenal for defense.
Spoiler Turn 294 - First Capture :
And just one turn after the war begins, Teodor has fallen to my overwhelming might. Now my land troops have an open path to march on Alm's capital of Rigel.
Spoiler Turn 298 - Battle of Rigel :
The battle of Rigel has begun in earnest. Alm and I are equally matched in tech, and we are both deploying the cutting edge of military technology: modern infantry, machine guns, tanks, and artillery. But I have the advantage of numbers, and my Autocracy tenets of Elite Forces and Martial Spirit give my army an edge in the battle. Though Alm has more techs researched than I do, the only unit he deploys that I don't have access to is the destroyer, which he cannot build in sufficient numbers to counter my fleet of cruisers.
Alm is supposed to have an atomic bomb, but I haven't seen him deploy it. Perhaps he destroyed it due to not having uranium, or out of some misguided attempt at preserving world peace?
Spoiler Turn 301 - Rigel Captured :
At long last, I have captured Rigel, the capital of the Valentian Empire. I should not overdo it, but it is only right to indulge in some villainous gloating now. After all, I have dealt a crippling blow to Alm, the only leader who could match my power, and now there is none left to stand in the way of my conquest of the world!
Only two capitals remain for me to capture before the victory is mine. I cannot take my eyes off Alm though, for the moment I do, he is sure to pour his troops back into Rigel, with that 50% Deliverance bonus. I need to continue pressing the attack and keep him on the defensive to prevent him from utilizing his combat advantages.
Spoiler Turn 301 - Glorious Autocracy :
On the turn that Rigel falls, I complete the Prora, the glorious symbol of autocratic supremacy. With the free policy from Prora, I unlock the capstone tenet of Autocracy: Air Supremacy. While I have little use for air units right now, Air Supremacy grants me a free Airport in every city, allowing me to transport troops across the continent in the blink of an eye. With my aerial infrastructure in place, I set my entire empire to the mass production of tanks, to be airdropped to the battlefield to secure my domination.
Incidentally, this turn is also the beginning of a Golden Age for my empire. My people can sense the moment of triumph approaching!
Spoiler Turn 302 - Alm Surrenders :
I cannot believe my fortune. Instead of seeking to recapture his capital, Alm has withdrawn from the war! His concessions were pitiful, but he has rendered himself powerless to do anything against me for the duration of our 10-turn peace treaty. The entirety of my army is freed up to march across the continent and complete my conquest.
I do not need the entirety of my forces to crush the Black Fang. Nino is weak enough that a portion of my power would be enough, and I would hardly be able to deploy all my troops against her anyway. So, I divide my army into two, with half pressing forward into the land of the Black Fang, while the other half marches south to the Sacaean plains, to secure Lyn's capital of Bulgar.
Spoiler Turn 305 - Storm on the Plains :
While my battle with Nino continues, the Deadlord Tigris leads the remainder of my army south across the Sacaean plains, with a battalion of tanks clearing the path before them. My invasion force is being constantly reinforced by an unending stream of tanks being produced on my mainland and airlifted to Valm Castle. It takes approximately two turns for a tank to reach the battlefield from Valm Castle, and my supply of them is practically limitless. My artillery is slower to arrive, but with any luck, I won't need any artillery to deal with Lyn.
Spoiler Turn 307 - The Black Fang Defeated :
Nino's capital has fallen, and her surrender has been secured. Now only one target stands between me and total world domination.
I have researched nuclear fission now, and am using my vast war chest to build up a stockpile of atomic bombs. Unfortunately, it seems that I will not have the opportunity to use them. Lyn's capital is out of bombing range of any of my cities, and I do not yet have the technology to build carriers to transport my nukes across the ocean. As much as I would love to irradiate the lands of my enemies as a testament to Grima's power, I am not going to delay my final victory.
Spoiler Turn 307 - Siege of Bulgar :
My squadron of tanks has completely encircled Bulgar. All enemy resistance has been destroyed, and Lyn's capital is defenseless. Victory is imminent.
Spoiler Turn 309 - Domination :
Bulgar falls at last, and the final capital is now in Plegian hands. After millennia, we have finally fulfilled our destiny: to conquer the entire world for the glory of the Fell Dragon.
