Three Square Meals A Day....But WTH Are They Called?

I call it-

Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner

Although the term 'supper' and 'dinner' can be interchanged and still mean the same thing in my house. Especially by my dad who's from the north.

I don't include snacks because there are too many to be documented. I made a list of everything I ate yesterday and I didn't realize exactly how much I ate in a day.

Breakfast-brunch-lunch-supper
dinner refers to main or most formal meal of the day, which may be either lunch or supper.

Just like to point out that in my part of the world Dinner and Supper are not interchageable. Supper is the meal (with a quantity food close to lunch) reserved for people who engage in an active nightlife. In western terms its akin to grabbing a burger on your way home from a Rave party.

My eating day is simply a continuous 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' :D Spiced up with the occasional 'oohhhhhhhhhhhhh' and once in a while some 'bllllleeaccchhhhh!' just to keep me on my toes ;)

But as for my neighbours, it goes Breakfast, Lunch, Tea(usually), Dinner/Supper.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Supper would mean the same as dinner if it were ever used, but it rarely is.

The Hobbit order was something like this: Breakfast, 2nd Breakfast, Elevensese, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Supper.

I only have 2 real meals per day - lunch and dinner; no snacks or anything else - and I'm still growing - sideways. Something must be wrong somewhere..... :p

Wow!

I had no idea there were meal-obsessed hobbits on the forums!
