I realise,now,that asking for maps was a daft request.When you have all exchanged maps,however,i think that it should be possible.You seem to be progressing,lickety-spit,and will probably be the avante garde of the PBEM world.The ever agressive Lkendter and his merry men have sussed that the AI is poor at warfare,human opponents will be a different kettle of fish.I am also really looking foreward to the "Cricket bat in the fog" syndrome.

Whipped poor Mongols to make bows faster, we are attacking Russia! War will give us at least one Russian city that is too close to Mongolia for our liking.
Barbarians do not attack, they no dummies, instead wander Mongolia looking for weak worker Mongols to beat up. They get theirs soon.

OK.. game on to Joe and the Calvary or Swordsmen are coming to your rescue. I turned down the ROP as the Ottomans are sending out a warrior to greet your scout for communication. Our recon tells us that Russia has only the capital and will be gone. Given Germany's position of being spread out and barbarians, our generals are sending only a light detachment to the Russian front while our swordmen take up positions among the mountains to intercept the barbarians. If the Mongols could give my generals even better recon then we could intercept them quicker. Germany recognizes the danger the Mongol scouts are in and wishes to offer amnesty in our borders to your scouts should they be in danger. The German people trust the scouts as they pose no harm to our great Aryan way of life.....

Scouts split up and head away from barbarian warriors, one towards Liepzig and one heading away into the unkown territory to the South-East.
Hoping to make Liepzig area in 2 turns, and meet the Ottomans.
In the spirit of cooperation with our German friends, the barbarians are located east by south-east of Hamburg.
St Petersburg is no more, destroyed by the Germans!
There is another Russian city near Mongolia, and we intend to capture it by force in the immeadiate future. If Germany takes Moscow also, the Russians will be gone.
Then the real contest will begin.

The Ottomans have gone into their "Isolationist Phase". What are they planning back there? Game is on to Maui.

On to Joe....Germany has moved the 2nd Alpine Division of Swordsmen to the front with Russia. Although St. Petersburg is detroyed, the German people plan to move a settler to the area and that troops in the area will begin a defensive posture to secure the ruins per our Communique to all nations. Between holding the line at the ruins and training more veteran swordsmen, the German military is spread to thin and therefore we demanded tribute from the Russians for peace. The Russians have agreed to our fair demands and have handed over all their tech, gold and available workers to the Fatherland. We are still awaiting word on our trade proposal from our good neighbors, the Ottomans. We have encountered the Barbarians south-east of Hamburg per the Mongol intel and our Warrior division has fortified in the mountains south-east of Hamburg awaiting for the barbarians to be foolish enough to approach our cities. Another warrior group has also taken up a position to the far south where another barbarian was found. Our generals fear that there could be a massive barbarian uprising if we do not find and destroy their encampment soon.

On to Maui. The Ottomans are proud to announce the founding of their fourth city in a northern woodland setting near silk farms. The Sultan has plans to connect a road to them which will eventually bring trade with our neighbors.
We have not seen an emmisary from the Germans - perhaps he is enjoying one of our roadside bath houses? - but we will summon our Science Vizier to find out if he has heard anything when next court convenes.

Scout killed by barbarians, apparently angered by German warrior.
Temple completed that will finaly bring iron and horses into our grasp. This temple, in Ta Tu, shall henceforth be known as the Shrine of the War God. May he bless our men at arms in the coming battle.

The Ottomans have accepted contact with the Russians from ONE UGLY MONGOL!!! and made a small return gift. We have not actually contacted the Russians, in deference to our long time friend the Germans who are just getting over a war with them, but with Germany's permission we will send someone to Catherine's court in the next ruling cycle.
We are pleased to announce the completion of a great temple dedicated to Magra the Blood God.
