Tips for GandK

Moving up to Prince and possibly King level GandK after some warlord. I usually played Americans in prince vanilla. The chief difficulties I find myself having are being out citied by enemies, losing out on certain wonders I'm building and occassionally getting an early invasion because I'm trying to balance early growth and army building. Any general tips? Good religions etc?

Don't build those "certain wonders" unless you are sure to get them or really need them. Build more military so you don't get invaded early. Whatever religion is fine, just get one if you can. Build warriors and pioneers and get 4 cities early.
