Tokugawa Shogunate??

Why is the leader of Japan named Tokugawa Shogunate in the Civ4 info pages?

Shogunate is more a name of a dynasty, isn't it?

I think the correct name would be Tokugawa Ieyasu, who founded the dynasty.

You are probably right the civ series has a habit of makeing historical mistakes.
