Too many notifications now

OK, I know I complained when the email notification went away - but please can it go away again

I assume (hope!) this is a 'feature' of the server upgrade? I've had 57 notification emails in about an hour

edit: I also note the times of postings are all messed up - it's Sat June 14th, 7pm Central, yet this post is being tagged as 7am-8am 15th June. I'm sure it's 7am somewhere, of course.

The topic reply notification seems stuffed up - I have just recieved 57 messages about replys to only 22 topics - if this isn't fixed soon I will quit CFC

Yes, I just got 54 new email notifications since the forum was upgraded.

Strange thing is, they are mostly from at least a week ago.

The upgrade must have fixed soething in the CFC e-mailer. I just got 7 'report post to moderator" e-mails from a week ago. It a appear there were some messages stuck somehow.

Don't worry guys. I think this is actually a good sign. Just tolerate those "spams" for several days and all should be fine soon.

And about a half dozen reported posts that were atleast a week to a few days old.

Now I'm getting nothing, I just looked here and suddenly found this thread updated, No email received (even worse IMO)

EDIT: All other threads I am subscribed to are also not sending updates.

Me too Elden - 3 posts updated, now no emails. I also notice it's June 14th again, I think that is the reason. The last time you visited is tomorrow!

Of course.... I blocked TF's address.... So I shouldn't be getting any (Must have been a mistake somewhere along the line.... He's un-blocked now )

I get a lot when I'm on CFC, it can get quite annoying. It would be nice if there was a 'no-notify while online' option. But I'm not complaining.

Logged into Yahoo, had 104 from CFC. Haven't looked at them yet. I'll probably just delete them.

That's what I get for taking a weekend off. . .

The spurts should end not that the correct reset server time has caught up to the prior ahead set sever time, unless there are other glitches that casue them to be temporarily cached.

I got some 70 notifications.

What was even more outragous was that I was getting some from 6/7/03 (the forum upgrade was a few days after). As a solution, I trashed every one of them and went to my CFC control panel where I checked all my threads.
