Since I was top suspect yesterday I find it very odd that Landlubber "wasted" a scan on ML ( a lurker?) when he could have proven my innocence, instead he conveniently "clears" at the time, the leading candidate for todays lynch, very suspect in mine eyes.
Also a mafia scry seems a very fake-able ability if your a scumbag and having false positives seems like the cherry on top.
Some one has been pulling the wool over our eyes, if not the unwogged Remake then Vote:Landlubber or side kick ML.
Actually, this deserves more of a response.
First of all, Martin isn't a lurker, not really. He's been posting sparingly, but relatively consistently nonetheless, and he's at least been paying some level of attention to the game. The reason I didn't scan remake was because he's been purely inactive, but that's not true of Martin.
I scanned Martin
precisely because I figured he would be getting a lot of attention today, and I was right. In that respect, my choice of scan isn't suspicious at all. Why wouldn't I scan someone who I thought was going to be the target of suspicion? I didn't think he was scum, not necessarily-- but I didn't want any attention on someone who I could prove as innocent. Plus, I already knew of a few people whose roles could potentially trigger my weakness, so scanning them would've obviously been a waste. If this is still an issue by N4, and if I'm still alive, I'll consider you as a target for the scan.
Just so we're clear here-- I know exactly what would trigger a false positive. I was feigning ignorance of my own ability at first and now I'm being blasé, because I don't want the scum to be able to get out of a guilty result by claiming a cover role that would turn up as guilty. The only person I've told directly is ATPG, and, unless he told any of you, that knowledge went with him to the grave.
