We can make the following trade with Julius Caeser:

Should we take it? Some extra cash is never bad IMO

Try fur for rice. Like in the Fairy Tale of "Hans and Gretl", we are not going to feed the children too fat, before we eat them.

Rice for Fur would do it, but trading crabs for 3 gold is too little.
So I support a pure thing-thing barter trade, no gold. :)

Wow, that's a cheap trade :). Very much worth it, especially since our people like Furs.

I've given the order to execute this deal during the upcoming turnchat. However if there's strong resitance and someone decides to poll this, then we shouldn't take it yet.

I am not the nuisance-cheerleader in this cast. Even though I think giving away a resource for 3 g is generous, I am willing to comply to get the deal.
We need stable relations during the first stages of the German War, so for diplomacy, very good.

It's a health resource, they're practically worth nothing IMO.

Last turnchat, Julius cancelled this deal, and now he's willing to make a similar deal again, so I've given orders to take that deal. We really need the happiness right now.

No objections here, although I don't think my cities need the happiness yet.

No.
Mercantilism cancelled only the foreign trade-ways, but the trade of ressources need nothing only the trade possibility, you need also no open borders.
